React Helmet

React Helmet is a package or library in ReactJS that provides a set of reusable React components, which simplifies the management of the content of the head tags on the HTML page. These tags can include title, meta, link, base, script, noscript, and style tags. React Helmet is incredibly useful for setting the meta information in server-rendered apps, the need for which is essential in SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

The might use React Helmet in your code like this:

```
import React from 'react';
import {Helmet} from "react-helmet";
class Application extends React.Component {
render () {
return (
<div className="application">
<Helmet>
<meta charSet="utf-8" />
<title>My Title</title>
<link rel="canonical" href="http://mysite.com/example" />
</Helmet>
...
</div>
);
}
};
```

In the example above, the `<Helmet>` tag is used to set the character encoding, the page title, and the canonical URL for the page. You can use it to also generate helpful tags for SEO like page descriptions and keywords. Helmets serve the purpose of enhancing the web application's head tags. The changes get dynamically encoded and updated even if the components get mounted or unmounted.
